    James Madison +5

Marshall's two leading rebounders are Tirrell Baines, who is 6'6, and DeAndre Kane, who is 6'4. This is a young team, whose coach abandoned them in the offseason so he could coach the Jordan kids in the same conference. They are unbelievably small.

Against a slate of weak opponents, Marshall has built a 5-2 record, so their size hasn't hurt them much yet. But tonight, they have to go up against the best player in the Colonial Conference in 6'10 Denzel Bowles, who is averaging 19 points/9 rebounds a game.

Bowles is a game-changer, and against a squad that really doesn't have the height to properly defend him, I think he will go nuts. Marshall is favored here because ConferenceUSA is considered stronger, but James Madison is going to compete for the Colonial League crown on the strength of Bowles, and this is a dream matchup because Marshall does not have the frontcourt to contain him.

I like James Madison to win this game straight up, but because the book wants to give me 5 points, I will gladly take it.

    James Madison +5 large.

    Good luck all

OK, that was not the way I drew it up at all. James Mad failed completely to get the ball to their best player in the 2nd half. However, 5 points is 5 points, and I have never been gladder for them.

I love it when a plan comes together. Good luck all.
