Had a nice day yesterday going 3-1. Should have been 4-0 but Cleveland gives up that last second TD. Oh well on to today.
Eagles -3 over Deadskins. This is going to be a very large play for me. Usually my plays range between 1-2 units a game. For this one I am playing 5 units on Philly. We got fucked on the Philly game last week against the Colts. This is a chance to get your money back.
Eagles tie NY for first with a win. In addition this is revenge for the loss to Washington several weeks ago when Vick got hurt. Listen the only reason Washington won that game, besides Vick getting hurt, was because Wash. was able to run the ball. McNabb stunk that game going 8/19 for 125 yards. Philly's defense gave up 169 yards on the ground allowing 5 yards per attempt. Following that game the defense got verbally reamed out by Andy Reid and D Coordinator Sean McDermott. The players are looking to make up for that performance. This is what Ernie Simms, Eagle LB said about that game, "Let's just say that when we got to that team meeting it definitely wasn't a happy moment. That was an awkward day and I just pray I don't have to go through that again."
The message must have worked because since that game Philadelphia hasn't allowed an opponent to rush for more tha 75 yards in their last 4 games. During that stretch they held Frank Gore, Michael Turner and Chris Johnson to a total of 163 yards on 57 carries for an average of 2.9 yds per carry. Don't fool yourself into thinking all is well between McNabb and Shanahan because it isn't. Washington won't have a running game tonight and I don't think McNabb can win this on his own.
