If by active you mean day trading, absolutely not. I got my 401k from work and that is just about it. I just bought a house last year so a significant part of my salary goes to my mortgage the other part goes to the bookies But when I have more money to spend I intend on dabbling with the market. I am still kicking myself for not investing in BP when it was $26/share and rebounded to around $40.
