4* Northwestern -6.5 (12:00 PM)
Persa completing 82% of his passes so far for NW with 6 TD's and 0 Int's. CMU has played cupcake central in their 2 wins vs Hampton and E. Mich thus far. I'm not a believer in CMU's 4th ranked defense and the Wildcats will bring that ranking back to reality today. Northwestern 34 C. Michigan 17
4* Iowa -28 (12:00 PM)
Iowa coming of a tough loss vs a Ball St team that can't even get out of their own way on offense spells one thing, trouble. While Ball St is still trying to figure out who their QB is, let's not forget this team lost to Liberty at home already this year and they will get beaten down on both sides of the ball today by an angry Hawkeyes team. Iowa 45 Ball St 6
3* NC State +8 (12:00 PM)
The Wolfpack are (16-8) Ats under Russell Wilson's leadership and (15-6) Ats as a Dog. He has thrown 56 TD's and only 12 Int's in his time at State. Add to that the Wolfpack are (12-2) Ats as Road Dogs with revenge factor and you have a live Dog barking here. NC State 34 Georgia Tech 31
3* Arkansas +7 (3:35 PM)
I feel this line is a little inflated after the 62 point outburst by the Tide last week. Bama's young secondary will be tested for the 1st time this season and i like the Bobby Petrino led Hogs to keep this one close. Petrino is (32-5) SU & (24-10) Ats at Home and that includes (16-5) Ats vs an opponent with a .500 or better record. Florida is up next for Bama and this is a very tough look ahead spot for them. The only thing keeping it from being a bigger play is the bad ass Bama running game. That scares me a little. Alabama 30 Arkansas 27
4* North Carolina -2.5 (3:35 PM)
Rutgers has been less than impressive in 2 early wins and they will be ripe for the pickin' versus a desparate UNC team today. The Tar Heels have suspensions but they still have a ton of talent there too led by Sr. QB Yates. UNC is (19-6) Ats after allowing 30 or more points in the previous week, including (5-0) Ats versus an opponent off back to back wins. Rutgers is (0-4) SU & Ats versus ACC opponents. I expect a solid road victory here by the Heels to get in to the win column. UNC 27 Rutgers 13
2* Southern Miss -3.5 (7:00 PM)
La Tech has given up over 500 yards of offense in each of their last 2 games and with this experienced So. Miss offense coming in, they may do it again. Too much offense and a defense that won't allow Tech to match points with them should equal a comfortable win here for the road team. So. Miss 31 La Tech 20
2* South Carolina +3 (7:50 PM)
Just a feeling here. I really like how S. Carolina has run the ball and i love how they have played defense. Usually that is a recipe for wins and with Auburn coming off a very late and emotional win, I think it is a nice spot for the Dog here. South Carolina 20 Auburn 17
4* West Virginia +10 (9:05 PM)
LSU has had their struggles on offense and they are facing a West Virginia team that can match them on both sides of the ball. Geno Smith has really been playing well and i see them being able to score some points on that Tigers defense today. In a game that could be a defensive struggle, i'll gladly take the DD points in a game that should go right down to the wire. LSU 22 West Virginia 20
3* Arizona St +11.5 (10:35 PM)
The Sun devils showed a ton of heart last week going in to Wisconsin and playing them tough for 60 minutes. They played great defense and their offense drove the ball on the last drive for what should have been a game tying TD in the end. Look for another solid effort in 105 degree heat tonight in the desert. Oregon has looked great thus far but they will be tested at some point and it just may be tonight. Oregon 34 Arizona St 31
5* "7 PT." Teaser = Conn. (-13) - Kansas St (Pk) -130 (12 & 12:30 PM)
3* "7 PT." Teaser = "OVER" (52.5) Stan/ND - Georgia (+7) -130 (3:30 & 7 PM)
GOOD LUCK!
