That would be a good step in point..of course stepping in being a 1/4 position to start..but it depends on what is going on.

I think she goes HIGHER from here.. you got volume and decent news and so much short fuel that I would be surprised to see that level today. Bring it to me though..lol

This trade helped equal out that NGEN mess..I still like it but geez it took a dump from the moment I bot it.

My HLIT is finally waking up..after a 5 day slumber..

SONS rocking..VTSS...TERN...all the ones from yesterday.

Dumb question and I have got burned doing this before, but do you think we/I should buy stock back or part of it right now(500 shares maybe) at present level or wait at this point?

Nah..I wouldnt buy in after a run of almost 70% from the lows..

2.52 to 4.21

I would wait for the losers to shake free from the trade and then after they have walked away and the shorts have sunk their teeth in, buy in..

Isnt it funny...when there isnt smoke, there isnt fire. There was no reason for this huge drop, we took a chance and we made a killing..

I consider HLIT at the levels I bought to be the same story.

Put BCON on your stock list.. I traded this sucker from .25 cents and as high as 1.20.. Funny story..I bought this sucker off the IPO and I think it was 15-20 in range..now down to a buck..that was a few yrs ago of course..but BCON at around a buck is a nice trade..

As for IVAN..let the iron cool a little, let the pumpers get finished and the shorts get piggish..then we can make another trade.. I just wish I had about 10X the position on it.. to make a 40% turn in two days is unreal..

Wallstreet-Ivan is down to $4.00 as I write this; you are right. I will wait until dust settles;when I get too compulsive whether it be in stocks or gambling, I always lose.
I may buy that other stock you just mentioned for a trade.

OPTC was the biggest miss..a nice move for this stock..I should have jumped in yesterday.

Mary..every one of yours looks great! Especially ERTS..the problem is that thest cost a bunch and cannot be traded on the quick..those are anchors to a great portfolio..the ones we are talking about are for hot trading quickies. A 1.00 move on a 42 buck stock is only a 2% move..whereas a 40 cent move on a 3.50 stock is a 10+ percent move..

I like all yours for position trades..buying on dips and selling for 5% or so..and you are doing the right thing having those strong stocks on the list, so keep providing them for us.

I thought you said ADBE was reporting earnings? No volume if they reported earnings..only 680k so far?

Wallstreet-what do you think of gold or a gold related stock as a hedge?
On one of late night radio shows(Coast to Coast) it was said gold might go to $1000 an ounce and one fund(I have phone number) had a profit of $95000 (if you invested $5000 at exactly right moment, it would have been worth $100000 at the top).
I am always skeptical of ads like that.
Any recommendations? I am talking 5K tops here.

I dont buy that gold hype.. those same people who are telling you that are wanting to sell you gold futures..

I think gold is good for a bit, but when Bush and his idiot cabinet members decide to bring the dollar back to proper levels, gold will come back below 400.

Another thing.. few gold stocks move when the gold itself moves. I would strongly suggest against buying cheapie gold stocks to play the move..if you want to get in on the move I would do options or futures..but I would NOT do that.

It is like the people you hear on the radio yapping about Natural Gas futures..and a 10 cent move in the underlying price could make you 50,000,00000000 etc.. its all a sales pitch.

I would buy only the highest priced gold stocks, leave the little guys to themselves..There are like 3-4 gold stocks that have been paying off debt and increasing their profit margins..

I agree with you about Bush.
Gold to $1000 an ounce-yeah right-that will happen when pigs fly.
I should know by now having been in market all these years that talk is cheap;its the same as Ty Gaston saying he was 104-6 in his Code Zebra Club picks(for only $1500 a pick).

Yep.. I have heard this gold crap for some time and I have heard it also over time. Sure gold has gone up a bunch, but it doesnt mean the stocks go up 10X per the gold move either.

I do think that if you were to buy natural gas futures at the right time that you could do well, but it isnt for me.

Its nice to see the NAZ move up again, and it looks like the little guys are moving more than the larger ones..

I am looking for 8 on HLIT..that is my exit on the stock. I kinda loaded up heavy on it..more than usual..8 would be a huge hit for me.

WS-Congrats on nice hit on hlit. My biggy for last week was ipfs, which I have repurchased but am actually a few bucks behind on on the new purchase.
Now we need to parlay our winnings with some nice basketball or maybe hockey games in the next few days.
