Not to happy with the results shorty , won 607.00 spent 486.00 , but it was a crappy day and dogs went down , plus I blew it in some races , but if you bet them the way I do you would have hit that Super also in the 9th. , but you have to know when to and when not to !

But you still made enough to tip well at the bar ( bummer )

When you have 4 different numbers in a race, do you bet each one for the same amount? What about when you have 2/ and a set of four numbers? How do you bet that?

I suggest a four dog box using my system thus :

A 4 dog Quinella = 12.00
A 4 dog Trifecta = 24.00

Now when you see a 2/7318 its a 2 over bet :

2 over 1378 is how your ticket would read , that means the 2 dog absolutely has to win then any combination of the other 4 dogs can cross the line and you are a winner . For a Q bet it costs 8.00 and it can come in with any dogs as long as the 2 dog does no worse than second . For a Tri bet it has to have the 2 dog win and costs 12.00 with any combo there after .

Its my way of saying that I feel very strongly that the 2 will win that race .

Everything is fine now , I feel guilty about oversleeping yesterday but it was much needed . Had a real decent night though went 4-0 in college hoops ( got lucky with Old Dom ) and 1-0 in foots . Again I thank you and hope you have a great nite !

I am posting a card for your track tomorrow for shorty and I am going to throw some other races at Florida tracks that show promise so he can simulcast wagers if he pleases to do so.

I really have say that getting your feet wet early in this will help a great deal because theres so much to learn and it never stops . I would need a thread tied up for months to explain and still never cover it all , I currently process about 9 to 10 thousand races a month and hand pick my best shots . I create 48 seperate tip sheets , using multiple variations of the priority factors used in calculating the totals . All my data is less than 60 days old and I never go back any further than 12 past preformances and my factors include speed , class , time , finish , turn 1 , turn 2 , break , and several watch and use counts , my speed ratings are base on the fastest time of the day at the track which a dog is running .

A example would be dog A ran a 31:00 at a track that day , dog B ran a 31:28 on that same day , so dog A would get a speed rating of 1 while dog B would get a 4 rating ( 7/100 `s of a second is about 1 dog length )

I could go on forever but its late and I need some shut-eye , but I hope you take a interest in my sport because its really alot of fun and profitable .
