Orlando Magic/Detroit Tigers

This is too easy. Just like in baseball with Tigers, the play should be AGAINST Orlando every time until they cover at least a couple of games in a row.
Everytime I hear reasons why folks think the Magic are a good bet, I simply think back to the same chants when Tigers were losing.
Handicapping 101 says you bet against a team which has gone bad not on them;doing the latter is simply trying to act like a bigshot and say you are smart enough to figure out when they will start winning.
I myself will keep betting against them unless/until they cover at least two games in a row.

like good advice on magic ,too. I wonder if these pros get a mindset that they will lose no matter what when they get in a slump.

The point is you don't try to analyze and try to come up reasons why they will win/cover on a given night.
When everything is going wrong for a team, assume that it will stay that way;its like in the stock market, they say don't fight the tape.

yes-I mean bet against Orlando especially when line is low or better when they are favored.
I would probably lay off or go light tonight when Orlando is a big dog.
I don't have their exact record against the spread;suffice it to say it has been profitable for me going against them in situations I cited above; they will win and start covering eventually but why try to guess when.

you point is well taken and anyone who hasnt been riding that wave has plain missed the boat . I would like to add that this year when you , me and Homer where doing our parlays in horsehide action I on occasion would throw a Tiger out there on my end ( I think 3 times ? ) and it hit once if I reckon right ( fairly sure ) and it by far made up for the other two times I used them on my card . I guess what I am trying to say is that because of the betting structure of wagers on parlays the odds favor a baseball parlay far more than a basketball one .

But getting back to your outlook ..... I couldnt agree more !
