49ers/Vikes both went over in first preseason game, but these are two teams with strong defenses and most starting positions already locked up. Both defenses played shut down ball against secondary units last time out, and I expect the same tonight. The 49ers will be without essentially every major play-maker they have on offense, and the Vikes will likely do little more than make sure Favre's snap count is on the same page as the O-line.
Basically, I think you will see second string offenses being repeatedly outplayed by first string defenses, and that won't add up to many points.
