Absolutely love this play, so do with it as you please.
Connecticut -3' over Seattle. Connecticut is 9-5 ATS in home games this year. Conn. has 5 games left and are 3 games behind Washington for the final playoff spot. They know that they just about have to win out to stand a chance of getting into the playoffs. Eight days ago Connecticut played Seattle in Seattle, who have the best home court advantage in the WNBA. Conn. was a 9' point dog in the game and lost 83-82. That indicates to me that Conn. matches up well against Seattle. However the main reason I like Connecticut is what the Seattle coach said after their win the other night that secured them the home court advantage throughout the playoffs:
" I am going to limit the number of minutes the starters play on the remainder of this road trip. The younger bench players will be getting extended playing time. I will give the starters enough playing time to stay sharp but the longer you play the more there is a chance for injury. In the last 2 years our playoff chances were hurt because we went into the playoffs with key injuries and this year I want to try and avoid that."
While Connecticut still has to put the ball in the hoop, it doesn't sound like Seattle is going to put up that much of a fight.
BOL if you follow. May post anothe game or two after I get a better chance to look at them.
