Nick, I've always wondered why you play both sides of the line of the same game. For instance, you put 2 units on Philly +139 and 1 unit on Boston at -149. Ok, I guess you're hoping the dog hits, but I don't understand why you cut your loses into by betting the fav as well. I'm not hating on you here, but I've never seen you explain your logic. Just wondering, so feel free to explain whenever you get a chance. Good luck tomorrow. Peace and love.

I've tried to figure out the logic in that too!

If Philly won, he wins +1.29. If Boston wins, he loses -1.00

Why not just bet Philly for 1 unit. If Philly wins, he wins +1.39 that way and still loses -1.00 if Boston wins. I just don't get it either to be honest and all he is doing is short changing himself really.

My friend victor (who posts occasionally on here) gets on me all the time about this as well. I have several different systems i developed for baseball season. And i decided that if two conflict each other i would still play them.

So for this instance, I always play Boston everyday for 1 unit. And if Halladay or Hamels pitched i bet against the phils 2 units, and if anyone else pitches i play the phils for 2 units.

So i believe in this situation, Hamels nor Halladay were pitching so i would play the phils for 2 units and Red sox for 1.

As a recent graduate of college and new homeowner, I dont have much to play with. So for me 1 unit= $10. (I know people like Jimmy the Greek are laughing right since he is a high roller). So i am only getting "juiced out" a dime or so which does add up after awhile.

I also wanted to get an accurate reading of how my systems do so I play all picks even if they coincide and I get slightly juiced.

                            I hope this helps!
