i remember old celtics when pierce was like a highway on D but he is an under radar shooting guard that is playing great D on best shooter on other teams so if he can just hold kobe alittle then lakers have no one that can stop the celtics Rondo vs Fisher no contest Pierce vs Kobe Kobe but not by alot Allen vs Artest Allen just hope he is hitting KG vs Gasol i would say even as both are good at what the do Perkins vs Bynum they both have been missing in playoffs so u tell me who is better oh and coach i think jackson sucks cause if he did not have guys MJ & Kobe he would not be around coaching anymore right place right time

I think it will be one helluva battle. Perkins doesn't have to score to be effective, he played some great "D" on Howard which allowed everyone to defend the perimeter. Can't wait to watch the finals, and I haven't said that in a long time!

As much as I like the Celtics and despite some of their injuries during the regular season, it is apparent to me now based on what they are doing, that in many of the games during the regular season, they give it a half hearted and lackadaisical effort against the weaker teams and played just hard enough to win(and is some cases lost at home to the NETS!).
Sure it would be great if the win the championship, but if I was a season ticket holder or even attended some of their regular season games where they just plain dogged it, I would think twice before shelling out good money to attend another regular season game next season especially against a mediocre team.

For me that's the problem with the NBA during the regular season, they just dog up and down and want their forty thousand dollars for the night. I do enjoy the playoffs but then you have to deal with the reffs and their bad calls! Good Luck TN!
