When does one use this term ?

After a earthquake kills the teams QB , then fire gets thier entire O-line and then the looters sack the stadium on game day?


I for one will never use this term because I do not know what tomorrow holds in store for me ...... or my wagers !

Simply Amazes me that anyone can see the future that clearly ?

I agree!

I never used to do it but i posted one in MLB that won and one in the NFL that i pushed on. I played 2 gom's that both won and those 4 wagers were all within the last 3-4 months.


I said all that because i have to say those games i didn't forget cause i can wear out a carpet pacing the floor and my worst fears are that someone else isn't smart and puts WAY more than they should on any single game. Myself i would take the hit and play it smart but i'm really worried that the "Novice" gambler gets HURT by these plays people release every other day!

I posted a game on the month earlier this month on nebraska against kansas, and the worst part for me was not just the amount i had on it, but the thought that if i lost, all my friends that played it would be calling off the hook, adding to the pain i was already in from my losings

plus, as any of the veterans on this site know, most of our friends are "novice" gamblers, and you break out a play of the month, or godforbid, play of the year, when you lose it, you will be branded with that by people that will forget the 5-2 nights you gave them and call you a loser...........so i think i am done doing that too, unless like johnny dimarco and kevin duffy, i have inside information

With all three of you. Thats why I haven't done a GOY in foots and won't.

After I posted my GOY in baseball and win. I saw how many people were on the game from the title and it was a lot if pressure on me for it to come through.

It's hard enough to pick winners for yourself and then post them on this forum knowing that people are following your plays. Then you add that title on. To much for me.

My personal GOY of the year in college was Texas when they killed Nebraska and my Thursday GOY was Southern Miss against TCU. But I only posted them has five star plays

I agree homer. Some people use the title too much. Seems like everyday theres a goy out of people.

There's a radio commercial for a service that says it every monday night.

I used the title in the conference games. After the 1st 3 hit is was great, but when the 1 game lost i felt bad. I would rather just post my plays now than to make a big deal out of 1 game. However, there is nohing wrong with stating that u like a game a lot more than u liked any other game.
