The Jazz are an even 22-22 SU on the road this season. The Jazz have lost by double figures in their past 6 games played at the Staples center.

Jazz are 1-6 ATS last 7 games as a road underdog.
Over is 4-0 last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

Key Injuries - PG Deron Williams (elbow) is probable.
F Andrei Kirilenko (calf) is doubtful.

                              PROJECTED SCORE: 102

Lakers (-7, O/U 200): Los Angeles might have won the battle with Oklahoma City, but they lost the war. Center Andrew Bynum had an MRI on his knee, and his status is unknown. Forward Ron Artest is still dealing with lingering health issues, as is star Guard Kobe Bryant. The good news is the fact the Lakers are playing the Utah Jazz in the 2nd Round, the team they have eliminated each of the past two seasons. The Lakers are very familiar with the Jazz style of play, and they will look to continue their playoff demolition of them. F Pau Gasol is averaging 18 PPG and 12 RPG in the postseason, and has been arguably the Lakers best player during the postseason. Bryant is going to have to take on a bigger role scoring this series, if he is physically able to. Bryant is only averaging 23 PPG in the playoffs, far below his season average. The Lakers are 61-27 SU and 36-49-3 ATS overall this year. Los Angeles is a powerful 37-7 SU at home this season, but they've struggled of late from an ATS angle. The Lakers are only 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 home games.

Lakers are 1-7 ATS last 8 games following a SU win.
Under is 7-0 last 7 vs. a team with a winning SU record.

Key Injuries - C Andrew Bynum (knee) is probable.

PROJECTED SCORE: 106 (OVER - Total of the Day)

                                Weekend six-pack

Statistical notes from the last ten years of college football........

-- Over last ten years, Hawai'i has had 13 receivers gain 1,000+ yards in a season; Texas Tech had 10 and no one else had more than eight.

-- Minnesota, West Virginia are only teams with ten 1,000+ yards RBs over the last decade.

                                -- Only five teams haven't had a 1,000-yard rusher in the last decade: Hawai'i-Texas Tech-North Carolina-Vanderbilt-Florida State.

-- Baylor is only Big 12 team that doesn't have a 3,000+-yard passer in the last ten years.

-- Stanford is only Pac-10 team that doesn't have 1,000-yard receiver in the last decade.

-- Oklahoma has had a 3,000-yard passer in six of last ten years, only Big 12 team that can say that.

Sunday's List of 13: Wrapping up a sports Saturday..........

                                13) Roy Halladay earned his paycheck Saturday, throwing a three-hit shutout at the red-hot Mets, giving the Phillies a much-needed 10-0 win. Its still really early in the season, but a Met sweep this weekend would have set a dangerous tone for the two-time defending NL champs.

                                12) Johnny Damon hit a walk-off HR for the Tigers; Damon is hitting a brisk .344 for Detroit, his fifth major league team.

                                11) Can we get Javier Vazquez traded already? He is 1-3, 9.75 in his first five starts, further proof that he's not a good fit for the Bronx.

                                10) Pirates scored five runs in their first three games at Dodger Stadium this weekend, losing Saturday night to a kid making his first major league start. Garrett Jones missed Saturday's game after a piece of food lodged in his esophagus Friday night. Luckily, Jones is OK.

                                9) Andruw Jones homered twice in the first three innings Saturday, then caught a fly ball in leftcenter field while he wasn't looking; he turned his head to the right almost a full second before the ball landed in his glove.

                                8) If you'd bet just $2 across the board on Calvin Borel in each of past four Kentucky Derbies -- an investment of $24 -- you'd have pocketed a cool $250.20.

                                7) Jerry Hissam, the agent for Borel, made $35,625 off Saturday's win. Hope they gave the horse extra-special oats Sunday morning.

                                6) Alexis Barba, the trainer of Make Music for Me, who finished fourth in the Kentucky Derby, used to train and care for Charlie O the mule, the real live mascot for the Kansas City/Oakland A's in the late 60's.

                                5) Defenseman Max Talbot of the Penguins lives in a house that used to be a funeral home. Not sure I could sleep in a house like that.

                                4) There have already been 22 too many men on the ice penalties in this spring's Stanley Cup playoffs, more than all of last year's playoffs.

                                3) Lot of debate about whether the questions Miami Dolphins asked their prospective draftees were appropriate or not, especially ones they asked Dez Bryant, whose mother's drug use is common knowledge in the NFL. (army.com is America's favorite website). Apparently, this practice has been going on for years. Hopefully, the NFL will encourage teams to become a little more human in questioning the kids who are about to be drafted.

                                2) Maybe if the NFL moved up its draft a few weeks, to just after March Madness, teams would have less time to prepare, wouldn't obsess to this degree and the whole process could become a little more normal.

                                1) I'm told the Kentucky Derby is the only American horse race that was 20 horses in it; not sure why that is, but it doesn't seem safe.
