Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers [ABC | 3:00 PM ET]

Thunder: Oklahoma City is very excited to be in the playoffs this year. The entire city and everyone in the Thunder organization are proud of their accomplishment, considering how difficult the Western Conference has been this year. The Thunder have made it back to the postseason for the 1st time since they moved from Seattle. Oklahoma City finished the regular season with a 50-32 SU and 48-34 ATS overall record this year. The Thunder lost 3 of the 4 games against the Lakers this season, yet they still remain a confident group. Perhaps its because 2 of those losses to the Lakers came by 3 PTS this season. The Thunder are 23-18 SU and 26-15 ATS on the road this season, easily one of the best road records in the NBA this year. Oklahoma City is an impressive 19-12 ATS as the listed underdog this season, including 6-2 ATS as a road underdog of 6.5 to 9 PTS. F Kevin Durant was the leading scorer this season in the NBA, as he averaged 30.1 PPG. Durant was held in check in the 4 meetings with the Lakers this season as he only averaged 25.8 PPG.

Thunder are 8-3 ATS last 11 games as a road underdog.
Over is 5-0 last 5 games as a road underdog.

Key Injuries - C Nenad Krstic (knee) is probable.

                    PROJECTED SCORE: 101

Lakers (-7.5, O/U 197): The defending NBA Champions appear to have their work cut out for them in the very 1st Round of the playoffs. The Lakers certainly aren't playing their best basketball right now, and they are going up against a young, upstart team in the Thunder. The war of words have already begun, as Coach Jackson tries to mentally sabotage Kevin Durant and the Thunder. The Lakers enter the postseason with a record of 57-25 SU and 33-46-3 ATS this season. Los Angeles was an impressive 34-7 SU and 16-24 ATS in home games this year. The Lakers were 29-38 ATS as the listed favorite this season, including 4-6 as a home favorite between 6.5 and 9 PTS. G Kobe Bryant missed 4 of the last 5 regular season games, while C Andrew Bynum missed the final 13 games. Both are now healthy, and both will be vital in the success of the Lakers in this particular series. Bryant averaged more than 32 PPG in 3 of the 4 meetings against the Thunder while Bynum averaged nearly 20 PPG against the Thunder this year.

Lakers are 1-6 ATS last 7 games as a home favorite.
Under is 18-6 last 24 playoff games as a favorite.

Key Injuries - C Andrew Bynum (achilles) is probable.
F Ron Artest (ankle) is probable.

PROJECTED SCORE: 105 (OVER - Total of the Day)

San Antonio Spurs at Dallas Mavericks [TNT | 8:00 PM ET]

Spurs: San Antonio has gone through injury after injury, yet here they are again in the playoffs competing for another NBA Championship. San Antonio is almost boring, as they consistently win year after year. The Spurs enter the playoffs with a 50-32 SU and 44-37-1 ATS overall record this year. San Antonio is 21-20 SU and 19-21-1 ATS on the road this season. San Antonio is 10-9 ATS as the listed underdog this season, including 6-3 ATS as the listed road underdog between 3.5 and 6 PTS. San Antonio played well in the 2nd half of the season against their toughest competition, going 23-19 ATS against teams with winning records. The Spurs offense was starting to click as the regular season was coming to a close, as they scored 100 PTS or more in 6 of their final 9 games. F Tim Duncan continues to dominate despite getting older. Duncan averaged 17.9 PPG and 10.1 RPG this season, both team highs. As the Spurs roster has aged, the bench play has become more crucial and will certainly play a factor in their overall success this postseason.

Spurs are 0-4 ATS last 4 playoff games as an underdog.
Under is 6-1 last 7 playoff games as an underdog.

Key Injuries - G George Hill (ankle) is questionable.
G Malik Hairston (ankle) is out.

                    PROJECTED SCORE: 91

Mavericks (-4.5, O/U 194.5): Dallas is on the short list of potential NBA Finalists, as they have been consistently great all season long. The mid season trade for F Caron Butler, F DeShawn Stevenson, and C Brendan Haywood has proved to be invaluable for this Mavericks team. Defense is now being playing in Dallas, and the Mavericks are winning because of it. Dallas was 23-7 SU after acquiring their new talent, and the Mavericks start the playoffs on a role. The Mavericks won 3 of the 4 meetings against the Spurs this season. Dallas was 28-13 SU at home this season, yet only 10-29-2 ATS in the same scenario. The Mavericks have shown the ability to win their home games, yet not convincingly. Dallas is only 2-9 ATS as a home favorite between 3.5 and 6 PTS this season. The Mavericks have also struggled with extended time off, as they are 1-6 ATS after 3 or more days off in between games. F Dirk Nowitzki leads the team with 25 PPG and 7.7 RPG this season for Dallas. PG Jason Kidd will be counted on heavily against San Antonio, as it will be crucial for Kidd to lead the half court offensive sets of the Mavericks.

Mavericks are 3-8 ATS last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
Under is 5-1 last 6 games as a home favorite.

                    Key Injuries - None.

PROJECTED SCORE: 102 (Side of the Day)
