Sheed's going to play big from what I sense... He seems like he is ready to roll and the Fakers don't have a Varejo to stop him... He has passed up a few treys in this series that have make me frustrated, he gotta let it fly tonight as he is the key to game 7.

I say screw the 3's from Sheed. If he is the starting Center, he needs to be in the paint ALL NIGHT rebounding. The team that has won the rebound battle in each game has also won all 6. If he is outside shooting 3's, they are fucked imo. If he is taking Perk's job, he needs to do Perk's job and rebound!

He played excellent D on Gasol last game when Gasol had his back to the basket... Gasol hit some ridiculous shots on him... Boston gotta let it fly tonight or they are done, they need Sheed trey's and he gonna come through, RAY RAY isn't hitting 8 3's again to win at LA...

They need Ray's 3's, not Sheed. Pierce can shoot them too. They have NOBODY to rebound if Wallace is sitting at the 3 point line. Nobody. The Lakers will win by DD if Sheed is shooting 3's and L.A. is getting all the rebounds. They have 3 seven footers and Boston now has one. The last thing they need tonight is for Sheed to think he is Ray Allen!

Alright I guess you don't want to win tonight... Ray Ray isn't going to do good tonight sorry...

Look back and Cleveland series in game 2 it was Sheed 7-8 Shooting 18 points in 18 minutes that won the game... Its not like he has to shoot 30 3's or something, he just needs one of these. He is X factor and I have faith in him...

You are picking one game to compare to? Yea, i guess i don't want to win tonight.

I want what Doc and the rest of the team wants and that is 10-15 rebounds from Sheed. He has a different role tonight and i think everybody except for maybe you sees that. If they win tonight, it will be because of 2 things ... rebounding and defense.

Rasheed shot 28% from the 3 point line this season and he is shooting 23.5% in June. The last person they need shooting 3's tonight is their Center (Wallace) with that %. I'll take my chances with Allen 8 days a week and hope he can drain 4 or 5 tonight.

If you bet on the Celtics tonight, you better hope Ray Ray does do well because you WILL need him.

I like the over more than C's.

If I have to be honest I like LA to win, but Boston to hang close... For Boston to win, well I already talked about my x factor enough...

                      GL to your team.

He actually played well last game and he is not dependable in b2b games.

                        • This article here sums it about about what Sheed needs to do tonight ... Sorry Dino

While Kendrick Perkins' injury opens up more playing time for Glen Davis and probably even Shelden Williams, the onus for filling that void rests primarily on Rasheed Wallace's shoulders. Rasheed's talent shows that he can more than adequately fill this hole in the Celtics' interior, but his performance throughout the Finals has brought back a lot of the same issues he had in the regular season.

After seemingly breaking through his regular-season malaise with a strong showing in the first three rounds of the playoffs, he's been much less effective against the Lakers' frontcourt. Defensively, he's been able to frustrate Pau Gasol at times. A pest in the post, Wallace has been able to push his opponent out of a comfort zone. He is challenging shots well and being physical.

On offense, however, he's resorting back to the same Wallace who leaves some basketball fans wanting more. According to HoopData.com, Wallace took 64.6 percent of his field goal attempts outside of 10 feet during the regular season. He took a lot of heat because he was playing "3-point line to 3-point line" and not taking advantage of his ability to score in the post.

In the Finals against the Lakers, we're seeing much more of the same passive Rasheed on offense. He's attempted 17 3-pointers in this series and only two free throws. A whopping 26 of his 30 field goal attempts have been outside of 10 feet. This is a far cry from the Wallace who seemed to take it personally when guys like J.J. Hickson in the Cleveland series were guarding him.

While Kevin Garnett is likely to receive most of the scoring opportunities in the post Thursday night, Wallace will have to establish himself on the block multiple times in order to keep the Lakers' defense guessing. Wallace can't allow the Lakers to just leave him on the perimeter, with his only threat being a 3-point shot he has connected on just 23.5 percent of the time. He needs get in the post, punish the Lakers' big men when he can, and get to the free throw line.

Sheed doesn't have to carry this team on his back and lead them to a title. The Celtics just need him to be more aggressive than the Lakers' big men can handle.

I think he has to be effective on O for them to put LA down again at LA... I never said anything about him carrying them... 15 pts and 2 big huge 3's would be ENORMOUS for Boston.

Ok, i'll take 1 or 2 three's on 1 or 2 attempts. If he shoots any more than that, they are DONE!
