Stoney-what do you expect? If he had had the Giants, it would have been a push.

        Northcoast

This is one thing I really dislike about Phil Steele and Northcoast. He has said counts his winners and losers based on Friday's USA Today. Good grief, a line can move 100 times in those 2 days.

He also trumpeted his big NFL 4* GOM winner with Tennessee. Aside from the fact he was lucky the Titans came back from being down 21-0 and held on to win 38-31, I doubt anyone who played the game after Northcoast released it Sunday morning got it at any better than -7, a PUSH!!!

Come on Phil Sr., don't cut corners with the truth!!!

Tennessee was -6 1/2 all morning at Pinnacle. I left around noon and it was still 6 1/2. Baltimore never moved off of 3 at Pinnacle that I saw. From my locals, one had Tennessee at -7, the other at -6 1/2. If I was NC, I would count Tenn as a winner.

I think Phil Steele lives in a fantasy world myself by using unrealistic and whatever lines he wants to, talks about his big games and prices for same like it is not common knowledge that they can be obtained for nothing on internet and sometimes dwells too much on games he won in the past like that GOY on Wisconsin.
As stated I have to give him credit for being a slick marketer and knowing what to say, how to say it in order to draw listener's interest and/or sympathy if he loses.

Used to be straight arrow and credible. Now everything is distorted, truths are bent, and records are not what they seem and reported in Convenient 4-10 year spans. Hiding recent results by using past records to cover up is poor performance in recent years. All about marketing is correct. Once respected, now Just another Tout.

Phil Steele's preseason pick to win the Super Bowl was Oakland and his pick for the Heisman was Casey Clausen.
NSA's NBA Game Of The Year was on Dallas -4.5 on March 31. Orlando won 108-99. It was a cloudy day for Sonny LaFouchi.
