Yeah. My brother and I are going. He's flying from Tulsa and I'm flying from OKC to Atlanta. We're staying in Conyers east of Atlanta. Prices in Augusta for this week are just crazy...would have been $4 or $500 a night to stay in a cockroach castle.Originally posted by vols fan View PostHell yeah Garth. Most beautiful place in the world man.Temps in the 80's all week also. Are you flying into Atlanta and driving out?
I'm looking forward to walking around on that course.

I have been down a few times myself Garth and you are in for a treat.Plan on having plenty of $$$ for items in the clubhouse but on the course food is CHEAP!!! A family runs the food and beverage and it's all sandwiches for like $1.50 and beer for $2.00. For me $20 is for food and that gets me 9 beers and a sandwhichOriginally posted by garth View Postgood luck, vols. I'm headed to Georgia today. I have tickets to the practice round tomorrow.

Trust me though when you get on I-20 east from Conyers to Augusta it's a long 130 miles.Conyers is the last main stop pretty much till Augusta.

Damn, I wish I'd seen this post before I left Sunday. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Suites real close to that Hooters. Beer's gone up at the Master's. Now they're $2.50.Originally posted by vols fan View PostI work in Conyers and the Hooters there is a regular stop for me

I did spend $200 in the souvenir shop, though. What an amazing course. We walked the entire course and then some. Probably walked about 7 miles yesterday. It was kinda like a pilgrimage to golf mecca. We saw Tiger and Couples tee off on #11 or 12. Tiger got a warm reception from the crowd. Couples has the smoothest swing in golf. That's the way I try to swing, but it doesn't quite ever work out for me.

I feel like that last group is going to be like a Ryder Cup/Match play deal and Phil is going to spank that ass.Scores will still be low so someone COULD make a move but IMO it's a matchplay event nowOriginally posted by ***THA FIX*** View PostDo you get that feeling that Westwood and Phil will do the choke job 2morrow?
