finished off Sunday going 2-0. Had a decent run during Championship week. Let's hope it continues through March Madness. Until the big boys play on Thursday let's try these.

North Carolina -9 over Bill and Mary. The trouble with betting the NIT is that usually most of the teams have no desire to play feeling they got screwed out of the big dance or haven't recovered from a heart breakinhg loss in the Championship game. I don't know how trhe Miss. State coach gets his team ready to play tomorrow after their heartbreaking loss to Ky. on Sunday. In North Carolina's case they have known for quite some time that the NIT was where they would be playing in the post season. After their terrible season I think Roy Williams is gonna have this team ready to kick some ass.

VCU -3 over George Washington. No lengthy writeup. VCU is the flat out better team.

Texas Tech +9 over Seton Hall. TT knew thet were going to the NIT for awhile and are probably happy just to be in any tournament. Seton Hall on the other hand had a shot at the big dance. They got to be disappointed.

In my other post I mentioned how can Miss. St. get up for their game tomorrow after losing to Ky. I just realized their game is tonight so let's take a shot on Jackson State +22. Jackson State will probably either win outright or lose by 50

More info I dug up on the Texas Tech game.

1. Seton Hall is 1-6 ATs when favored by 5' points or more this year.
2. Seton Hall has beaten only 1 team by double digits since Christmas
3. Texas Tech played the 13th toughest schedule in the entire country
4. Since January 9, TT has been beaten by double digits 9 times, which I admit is quite a lot. Here is the list of teams and their defensive efficiency rank Kansas (5th) K. State (19th), Baylor (52nd), Texas A&M ( 23rd), Texas (26th) and Ok. St. (63rd).
5. Seton Hall defensive efficiency rating is 102nd in the country.
6. Tech shoots 3s and free throws for a higher % than SH.

As I stated earlier SH really was hoping for a NCAA bid. Yesterday SH dismissed a player from the team who started all last year and about half of this year's games for making negative comments about the coach. I really believe TT is happy to be in any tournamnet. TT has announced that Pat Knight will be back next year so the players can use the NIT to make an impression for next year.
