Went 2-1 yesterday thanks to Maryland and Texas A&M however lost my POD when UAB shit the bed against Memphis. When your team out rebounds their opponent 42-30 and they get off 22 more shots than the opposition you figure you will win most of those games, right. Not last night. UAB picks last night to shoot 32% from the field and 12% from the arc (3 for 24). Hell I am 50 years old and haven't played a game of BB in 25 years but I bet you I could make more than 3 of 24 from the 3 point line. Oh well sometimes it's good to vent. On to today,
Rutgers +4 over Seton Hall. SH beat Rutgers 10 days ago at home 76-70. SH is only 1-6 on the Big East road with their only win at St. Johns. SH has failed to cover their last 6 games as a favorite. Rutgers is 7-1 vs spread in their last 8 games, winning 4 of their last 5 at home. It's also senior night for what that's worth.
New Mexico State +6 over Nevada. Nevada beat NMS at NMS 77-67 and is NMS only home WAC loss this year. Nevada is 1-5 as a WAC home favorite. NMS is 7-4-1 in thier last 12 games as a dog.
Cal State Fullerton +2 over Pacific. Pacific shot 54% from the field and 50% from the arc in a home win over CSF in January. CSF is 6-2 in their last 8 home games and 5-1-1 vs spread as a dog in Big West games. Home dogs of 3 points or less are 7-1 vs spread in the Big West this year.
