I LOVE Thanksgiving
Every year my brothers and I gather at my mom's house just before the Dallas game starts at 4PM Est. This is after we play football that morning at about 8:30, and then travel off to our respective In-Laws'.
But my mother makes me the greatest Thanksgiving dinner. When I was a little kid, I finally (along with my dad) convinced my mom that to make us steak and potatoes instead of Turkey. YUMMY!
When people ask me why steak and not turkey, I always reply...IF YOU'RE GOING TO BASE A HOLIDAY ON FOOD (which is what people do), THEN WHY EAT TURKEY INSTEAD OF STEAK?!?!
If anybody ever says, "but...but....I like turkey. It's one of my favorite meals!" I call them a LIAR. How many restaurants are devoted to turkey? Brown Derby? WRONG! Longhorn? WRONG! Outback? WRONG!
It's this sort of logic that gets me a juicy steak dinner, with a dessert of French Silk pie from Baker's Square. Oh my god I can't wait!Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!Comment
