NY GIANTS (4-6 SU/3-6-1 ATS) at TAMPA BAY (4-6 SU/4-6 ATS)

The Giants looked unimpressive last week in a 28-10 loss at Philadelphia as +3½ point underdogs. Kerry Collins was 25-of-44 for 268 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Giants, who dropped their second straight game. Tiki Barber finished with 111 yards rushing and 20 yards receiving in the losing effort. Despite the lopsided score, it was close stat-wise, with NY getting outgained in total "O" 376-361. The Bucs continued to slide last week in a 20-13 home loss to the Packers as -4 point chalks. Thomas Jones rushed for 134 yards on just nine carries for Tampa Bay (4-6), which has lost three in a row. Brad Johnson completed 17-of-28 passes for 149 yards with a touchdown to Keenan McCardell, but was intercepted twice. Tampa held a slight edge in total "O" (285-282) but had deficits in first downs (15-10) and time of possession (34:07 to 25:53). The Giants are 1-8 ATS on Monday Night Football and 1-11 ATS in November off a road game. In addition, NY is 1-6 ATS when playing on grass fields and 1-8 ATS in weeks 10 through 13. Tampa Bay is now 20-3 ATS off a loss as a SU favorite, but 0-2 ATS the last two times that has occurred the last two weeks. Tampa has done well at home on Monday Night's, going 6-2 ATS. However, there is dissention on the Bucs as they deactivated WR Keyshawn Johnson for the rest of the season this past week due to actions detrimental to the team. Johnson had 45 catches for 600 yards and three touchdowns this season. However, Tampa needs this game to stay in the playoff hunt and should respond with a solid win over the inept Giants.
