  • Bracket Buster Play for Friday

Tomorrow's card is really weak but I found a play I really like a lot.

William and Mary +3 and ML over Iona. I really think the wrong team is favored and at worse it should be a pickem game. While W&M and Iona have similar records (W&M 19-7, Iona 19-8) there is a major difference in the quality of opponent each has beaten. They have played 2 common opponents UCONN and Manhattan. W&M lost at UCONN by 9, while Iona lost at UCONN by 19. W&M beat Manhattan by 5, Iona beat Manhattan once by 3 and lost to them by 6. Iona's biggest win this year is probably against their conference rival Fairfield who is 18-8. Their other big game was against Baylor who they lost to in OT by 10. On the other hand here are some of the teams W&M has beaten this year.

Richmond who is 21-6 by 7
Wake Forest at Wake, who is 18-6 by 10
VCU who is 18-7 by 1
Maryland at Maryland wwho is 18-7 by 6
Northeastern who is 19-6 and George Mason who is 16-11.

I think W&M wins and it isn't even close.

BOL to everyone this coming weekend.
