I read a while back that the average bet for most of the folks who go to chatlines like this in less than $25 or $25 tops.
I am sure there are folks who bet a lot more than that and probably some even less.

Does that means the people who "GO" to sites for picks bet that much or the people who post the plays bet that much?

I would think most fall into $25-$50 a unit here.

What people are betting is their own business, but from what I have been able to obsverve, I HIGHLY doubt the majority of people on here are betting $100 per unit when the units range from 4 to 20. ($400 - $2000 per game with as many as 20 games, or more per day - do you honestly think most people have that kind of "play" money sitting around?) Just my 2 cents.

I agree.Greek did give Spark his username and password for his account one night after like a $25,000 night and the shit was legit.Greek and a few others here probably do bet $100 a unit but for the most part IMO it's 25-50 PER unit.

Hell,I live in a trailer down by the river so $5 a unit is alot for me

I just I was misunderstood..Im not saying Greek is not legit my question was the capping since thats's allot of cash..It just seems like the public fade system? I know how much I have out there on a given night ok..each night and thats why the book loves me I guess...

Is there a reason behind the 20* vs 5*? I been doing this a long time and still trying to learn somethings and if Im missing something I want to know..or would like to know as we could all pick better games but if its just the public is on that side so I will pick the other than I can move on.

Hopefully my post did come across as questioning what GG bets on his games...b/c it was not intended to be that way and I'm sorry for cluttering his thread. I said in my post twice that I did not think "most" and the "majority" of the folks on these boards where betting 20+ games a day ranging $400 - $2000 a game.

I have established long relationships with locals. I have paid them alot of money and they have paid me a nice bundle.

Dont forget when u are playing with locals , its not like you are betting online or at a casino. You dont need to have the money upfront. Its like betting with credit.

I didnt have to show up with 20,000 last night to wager

The only thing that sux about last night is that i gave back all the profit i won last week ( mainly saturday ) .. And then some

I believe he said $100 per unit a long time ago (which is somewhat typical in the sports betting business, right?). With the amounts and number of games he bets, last night probably isn't a big deal for him. There's no reason for me to believe he doesn't have it. For me, divorce, for him, another night at the office. I would like to have the money this guy has though............
