Last night took a beating, tonight I'll take the points.
Ball State has a terrible road record, but a little closer look at their 1-6 mark reveals something: they have played great teams in road games. Their 6 losses include Purdue, Dayton, Temple, and Central Michigan, all of whom are better than Buffalo.
Buffalo sports a strong home record, but the quality of their opposition has been weak, and they are coming off a 22 point drubbing by Ohio, who now sits at 2-4 in conference. Buffalo should well win a close game here, but I'm delighted to be getting 10.5 points, and I think Ball State will play a motivated game, as their stretch of road games against top 40 programs has made them look worse than they are.
