again, this is not a homer call.
Many people have jumped on the Vikings bandwagon because of the ass whipping they gave a Dallas team last week. I had Minny as my best bet and I had Dallas the week before. I based those plays on the whole season, just like I am doing this game - I hope !!
First, Saints losses - Minny assrapes Dallas and the Saints lose to Dallas. In the NO/Dallas game, the Saints played one of their worst games and Dallas played their BEST game of the year and with 20 seconds left, NO still had a chance to tie the game.
NO/Tampa - Saints jump on top 17-0 and then tried to go on cruise control. In the NFL, you can't do that and that bit the Saints on the ass. They tried to coast and Tampa took the lead. But, with a few seconds left, the Saints, who played a bad 2nd half, still had a chance to kick the tying FG but Hartley missed it.
NO/Carolina - Saints rested starters.
My point, the Saints played 2 bad games YET were right there at the end to tie the game. The teams that beat them played their BEST game and still the Saints were right there at the end.
Minnesota - the Vikes were 4-4 on the road, losing to Pitt, Arizona, Carolina, and Chicago. In a win over Baltimore, the Vikes defense allowed Joe Flacco to pass for 385 yards and against Carolina, Matt Moore passed for 299 yards. Those offenses aren't on par with Arizona, Green Bay and/or New Orleans.
I give the Vikings the edge on the defensive line, but I feel the DB's for the Saints are better and I call the linebackers a push.
Anyway enough BS - the goats and I are big on
NEW ORLEANS - 3 1/2.
good luck whomever you play
