Its just what they call it. Guys dont actually drink before or while playing. They may have a few beers after the game or whatever. Its just like any rec sports league. Playing hockey and working out at the gym has actually served as one of the most positive things in my recovery. Booze is everywhere doesnt bother me one bit if I know what I need to do...
