No worries Joe...loved watching those Hawks yesterday man can they play...

And guys in reference to the shootouts I dont like them either. It is not the best way to decide a winner of a TEAM hockey game. However what you need to remember is that lots of teams play back to back games and are catching a flight later that night. They cannot simply have a continuous 5 on 5 overtime like in the playoffs that can go on for hours. What I would like to see though is maybe a 5 minute 4 on 4 and then a contunuous 3 on 3 to decide a winner. That would ensure the game would end sooner than later avoiding time restraints. It would also maintain a sense of team hockey as opposed to the circus and goalie single outs that shootouts provide. There would surely be a winner decided within 15 minutes MAX ever game. Regardless its much better how it is now then without the ties like it used to be. When ties were in the league teams would play so conservative in overtime not wanting to get a loss and just play for the tie to get a scratch game and then move onto the next night/game....

P.S. NBA teams do the same thing, play triple overtime game, catch a flight, play again the next night.
