I spend entirely too much time in sportsbooks, and around those who do, but you can learn some things. I believe, like EVERYONE, it seems, that TCU has a much stronger D than Boise, and are much better tested.
The money seems to be rolling in on TCU, and everywhere you look, everything you read, points to why the Horned Frogs are the superior team. And I don't disagree. I will have a small play on the under, as I think defense will play a role here, and I think running games will be on display.
But I urge you at least a little bit of extra thought if you haven't played this game, because all of this TCU enthusiasm, all of this Mountain West bashing, and the spread has moved AWAY from TCU since this morning??
Lines don't move by fluke, and the people who make a living at this don't do so by luck, and while I have no great reason for why Boise would win or cover in this game, I would proceed cautiously from a strictly gambling standpoint, because the same unanimous fury that was ready to crown New England undefeated champions (while the line crept down late) seems to be at play here, and THAT is a team I would not want to bet against.
