Dave, got a couple questions for you. First of all, your system is one of my fav to play. But, I was thinking last night about a few things regarding this play- which I already played.

              A) Has the system ever had the same team being the 'bet on' team twice in one year? Both system plays have been on the Cards this year.
B). Not only the same team (Cards) but bet against the same division? (Vikes/Packers)
              C) Has the team that you bet against (Pack) played a back-to-back against the same opponent?(Cards)
              D) Has the system ever fallen into the playoffs?
Again, I love the system, and have already played the game, but just wondering if it has ever came up like this?

Good questions. Another interesting aspect is that the Packers 2nd Peak Game was against SUBS.

A.) Not that I can recall. It rarely comes up twice in the same season, much less on the same team. It also came up this year against the Colts (49ers +12 winner).

B.) Not sure; probably. Somewhere here at betchat there is an intemized game by game list of the plays that someone else posted.

                C.) No. I would've remembered.

D.) Yes. I think it was a Packer-49ers game, but I'm not 100% positive of the exact teams.

                MOOSE:

*GO AGAINST ANY NFL TEAM THAT SCORED 30 OR MORE IN EACH OF THEIR LAST TWO GAMES AND ALLOWED 12 OR LESS IN EACH OF THOSE SAME TWO GAMES...

                ...IF...

...THEY ARE NOW PLAYING A TEAM OUTSIDE OF THEIR DIVISION.

I need to point out an important SIDE NOTE that potentially encroaches on the logic of the theory.

The logic holds that a team that has DOUBLED PEAKED could "let down" since they are now playing a team "outside of their division", and, therefore, they are playing a game of "lesser significance".

Although the System has not lost in the playoffs, it's important to note that the rationale is "tainted" by the fact that their opponent, although not divisional, is nevertheless not one that makes the game "of lesser significance". Being a PLAYOFF Game, it's obvisously not "of lesser significance".

Actually I just recalled a second playoff game. It was in 1995. The Lions had DOUBLED PEAKED in their final two games of regular season. The following week they got blown out at PHILLY in Round One of the Playoffs. I remember that game. It was a laugher. I think the Lions had like 8 turnovers. It was over at halftime.
