  • Top NFL Play This Season (1/3)

Pats +7' over Texans and a play on the ML as well. I absolutely love this game and would like to get some feedback from others. This line makes it look like the Pats have nothing to play for, which is not true. If the Pats lose and the Bengals win then the Bengals get the 3rd seed. Besides knowing Belichick I think he will want to win this game so his team has momentum going into the playoffs. I know the Pats haven't played well on the road and the Texans need the game to keep their slim playoff hopes alive but I think 7' is an overlay. What am I missing with this game.

My only question is if the Pats win who is out of the playoff picture.
If the pats lose who gets in?

If New England wins they are the 3rd seed and Bengals are the 4th. If NE loses and the Bengals win then the Bengals are the 3rd seed and NE is the 4th. If the Jets and Ravens win they are the 5th and 6th seeds. As for not trusting NE on the road, I agree that this year they have been somewhat shakey but I think this line assumes that the Pats pull their starters early in the game.

A couple of years ago NE had nothing to play for in the last weekend and the Titans had everything to play for... By 4 O Clock the Titans knew that 2 other teams had lost so if they could just beat NE then the Titans would be playoff bound... The Patriots played like it was the super bowl and beat the Titans rather easily...

I will tell you this before knowing the line I looked through to check my systems. Houston came up in one of my systems that has hit at 75% percent over the last 5 years. Adding the fact they need to win to make the playoffs and the fact that New England has won one road game and that was a neutral site in London. I loved Houston but at 9 I was kinda shocked. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT PLAY THE MONEY LINE!

The system is if a team wins 3 straight ats & su giving up 10 or less points and 4th game is vs. a non divisional team bet against. I spent most of this season coming up with some systems and this is one of my top ones. Have 3 hitting higher with 2 hitting 80%.

IMO Vegas knows everyone will be on the Pats this week + so many points. I can't see them giving a gift like that.

My opinion would be that NE would not want to travel to Cincy, therfore will play hard to beat Houston.
Five 8-7 teams — Baltimore, Denver, the New York Jets, Pittsburgh and the Texans — are competing for the two AFC wild-card berths.

If the Ravens win at Oakland and the Jets beat Cincinnati, they’ll clinch wild-card berths.

The Texans need to beat New England and have two of three teams — the Jets, Ravens and Broncos — lose.

If the Texans play New England the way they played the first half against the Dolphins, they’re capable of winning. But if they play the Patriots the way they played the second half against the Dolphins, they’re likely to get clobbered.

Here in vegas the casual fan who does not break down games like we do here at bc will just blindly pick ne and the books know that... When i wrote tickets i see 8-tmrs all the time and there would not be one dog on the ticket.. Teams that don't have a bye next week tend to rest players the week b4....rav's pt was ne would rather be the 3 seed then 4th...home game 1st rnd is huge...one more is i personally don't believe this ne team is as good as the past ne teams...
