    CFB YTD 38-28 +2.0 units
    3* 0-2 -6.6 units
    2* 8-8 -1.6 units
    1* 30-18 +10.2 units

    BOWLS 3-0 +4.0 units

I improved to 3-0 in the bowls with UCLA's win Tuesday as I continued my two year pattern of going against the MAC in bowl games.

    Wednesday:
    1* Idaho pk
Another chance to go against a league that somehow got four bowl bids despite having only one marginally decent team (Cent Mich). Idaho gets to play in-state and is highly motivated to play a bowl game after being awful for years. Teams that end the season on a losing streak are always undervalued in bowls.

    Thursday:
    3* Stanford +8
(line has moved to +10 but I'm stuck with the number at which I earlier bet and posted) Stanford was as good as anybody in the Pac 10 and is excited to get its first bowl bid in awhile and against a marquee opponent. Oklahoma never recovered after Sam Bradford went down. They beat only one good team all year (Ok State). Stanford's QB is out but the offense puts up a lot of points and the key is RB Toby Gearhart. Stanford coach Harbaugh has pulled off several major upsets and the team will respond well to his announcement of a contract extension. In a shootout, Stanford wins straight up.

    Futures posted earlier:
    3* Florida State +3
    3* Florida -11
    3* Georgia Tech -4

    NFL:
I'm playing these now at the following lines and will add a big one later in the week depending on line movement:
    2* Lions +3
    1* Vikings -9
    1* Rams +7
    1* Chiefs/Broncos OVER 38

          Adding

          Thursday:

I will be adding a play on Navy-Missouri but am holding out in hopes of getting line movement. Will post in this thread when I pull the trigger.

          NFL

          Adding:

4* Pro Football Game of the Year Chargers -3 (-125)
I'll write this up later but urge a play now and a point buy as the number will move way back up when it's apparent the Chargers' starters will play much of the game.

Posted earlier in my thread from last weekend:

          1* Texans -6 1/2
Has now moved up to -8 as I predicted in my other thread. May go to -9.

I'll lay out all my reasons in a separate thread but:

              1) San Diego's GM was furious at Marty Schottenheimer for resting all his starters in 2006 after SD clinced #1 seed in the AFC. It was part of the reason he was fired after the playoff loss.

              2) Washington is so terrible right now they can't beat SD's second string.

              3) SD will sense a chance at stealing all the AFC momentum and wants to go into the playoffs with an eleven game winning streak.

              4) If SD plays its starters only in the first half they may be up by 28 points

              5) Zorn has lost control of Washington

Could not agree more with that SD selection. Good luck.
Am I the longest tenured BC member?

Good luck. Love the San Diego call. I know Norv Turner would like nothing better than to stick it to the man, Dan Snyder, who fired him a decade ago.
