              Information on Sunday's college basketball games.


              Central Florida is 6-3 vs D-I teams, losing road games at Notre Dame by 18, South Florida by 4 (1-1 as road dog); their other loss to vs Niagara by 17. UConn gets big freshman Majok eligible here, which should help their defense. Huskies are playing for first time in 11 days, since loss to Kentucky- they're 1-4 against the spread as a favorite.

              Bradley is 4-4, getting upset at home in last two games; they lost 68-65 to Loyola in last game, after leading by 11 at the half. Braves are 1-1 on road, losing by 10 at BYU, winning by 14 at Northern Illinois. Iowa St. is 7-3, losing three of last four games- this is their first game in 9 days, Cyclones failed to cover last three games as a favorite.

              Ark-Little Rock beat Arkansas State twice LY, by 1-6 points, holding ASU to 33% shooting in both games; UALR is 3-6, losing its last three games, including 74-71 loss at So Alabama in Sun Belt opener (led by 6 at half). Arkansas State lost last five games (four losses by 11+ points); favorite is 5-1 vs spread in their games this season.

              Isiah Thomas' Florida International team is 1-8, losing last three games by 20-17-6, losing Sun Belt opener 59-53 at Denver Thursday; they are 4-3 vs spread as underdog, covering last three as dog. North Texas won 80-75 at FIU LY; they're 4-3 after beating UL-Monroe 79-62 in league opener, covering their only game as a favorite this season.

              Florida State beat Georgia Tech twice LY, 62-58/64-62; Seminoles won last three games by 20-7-4 points, are 9-2 on season, 1-2 on road, losing by 16 at Florida, 13 at Ohio State. Tech won last six games, is 8-1 this season, covering all five games as a favorite. Jackets' only loss is 63-59 on neutral court to Dayton; best wins are Siena, USC.

              Home team won both NC State-Wake Forest games, with State losing by 7 here, winning by 6 at home. Wolfpack is 8-1 with win at Marquette in inly road game- they struggled to beat Elon by 3 last game. Wake Forest just beat Elon by 40; they're 6-2, winning last three games by 2-40-11 points. Deacons are 3-1 against spread this season when a favorite.

              7-2 Cornell is playing for first time in two weeks; they've won last five games, with four of those games away from home. Big Red has wins vs Alabama-UMass-Drexel-St Joe's-- their losses are Seton Hall, Syracuse. Davidson is 1-7 vs D-I teams (won by 11 at Citadel), playing schedule designed for team that had Curry playing. Davidson is 1-3-1 as a dog.

              St John's is 8-1; its only loss was 80-71 at Duke (was down 16 at half). Red Storm won last two games by 10-17 points, beating Siena, Temple, Georgia- they're 0-4 vs spread this season when favored. Hofstra is 6-3, 2-1 vs spread as underdog; two of their losses are Kansas/UConn- their other loss is by 8 to Charlotte. Hofstra won their last three games.

              South Florida is 8-2 after hammering San Francisco by 20 last nite; they are 6-2 vs spread as a favorite, now face enigmatic San Diego team that blew another 15-point halftime lead last night, losing to SIU. This is the fourth game in eight days for Bulls. San Diego lost six of its last seven games. Underdog is 9-1-1 vs spread in Torero games this season.

              Southern Illinois rallied to win last night after being down 15 at the half; Salukis are 5-2 vs D-I teams, losing at UNLV by 9, Saint Louis by 10. SIU is 3-1 vs spread as a favorite. San Francisco lost eight of its last nine games after losing by 20 to South Florida last night; they're 2-6 against spread as an underdog.

              Rhode Island is 8-1, winning last four games with win at Boston College last game; they're 2-2 as favorite this year. URI's only loss this year was by hoop at VCU. Fairfield is 8-2 against a terrible schedule (ranked 340 out of 347); Stags lost by 29 at Maryland, 4 at Hofstra. Their best win, I guess was a 13-point win at St Peter's in a conference game.

              Colorado State is 6-3, winning last three games by 1-5-15 points, with wins over Denver/Colorado/Montana, all decent wins. Rams are 3-1 as a favorite this season. Northern Arizona is getting ready for the back/back schedule Big Sky is playing by doing that this weekend- they upset Air Force yesterday 60-52, their third win in ten games vs D-I teams.
