I live in San Diego and follow the Chargers regularly. I really feel this is the Chargers year to get to the Superbowl. The last 3 years they have had a lot of young talent on defense and have been inconsistent. They are really starting to gel and come together. I thought the loss of veteran DT Jamal Williams was going to kill this team, but it hasn't. The secondary had been their weakness in the past, but Cromartie, Weddle, Gregory, and rookie Ellison are finally starting to get it. I think the Chargers have the 2nd most explosive passing attack behind the Saints this year. Gates is the best TE in football. Jackson is a top tier receiver and very underrated and there is a lot of depth behind him. Looks like they are starting to get some type of running game going with LT. Looking at the rest of the schedule I see only 1 more loss which will probably come @ Dallas, or @ Tennesse. At 12-4 that should leave them with a #2 seed and a bye. I think the Colts are the only thing standing in their way of getting to the Big game.
