Thursday night Oregon State +10 over Oregon. I think these 2 teams are very evenly matched. I will give Oregon a slight edge cause of home field advantage but more like a 3-4 point advantage, certainly not a 10 point edge.
Saturday Plays
Rutgers -1 over W. VA. I look for a letdown from W.Va. after back to back games with Cincy and Pitt.
Texas -14 over Nebraska. I love Nebraska's defense but frankly their offense sucks. I think the Cornhuskers defense will eventually wear down. Don't see too many points being put up by the offense. I like Texas to win 31-10.
Alabama +6 (bought a half point) over Florida. I think Alabama is the more battle tested team. This game will only be Florida's second game against a ranked team, having beat LSU 13-3 when LSU was 4th ranked. On the other hand Alabama will be playing their 5th game against a ranked team. I also like Alabama's running game and if you look at Tebow and McElroy's passing stats they are almost identical. Granted Tebow has the edge in leadership and running ability, but McElroy impressed me last week when he led the Tide on that 75 yard drive late in the game to win it over Auburn. I really don't think Saban will let the Gators to beat him again. He has had a whole year to prepare for this rematch. I like Alabama to win the game 20-17.
Good luck to everyone this weekend.
