  • NCAA Football Awards Question

I know almost all offshore books are carrying odds on who wins the Heisman but does anyone know of a book who is carrying odds on the other awards such as the Outland Trophy, Loo Groza Award, Ray Guy Award etc. Thanks

Ndamukong Suh (Nebraska) - Outland Trophy (I'm not biased)
Kai Forbath (UCLA) - Loo Groza (The most up in the air of the 3 awards)
Daniel Sepulveda (Baylor) - Ray Guy

Sarge, I think a lot of these awards are locks or near locks. Here is who I have winning

Lou Groza Award-- Forbath is a lock. He was the UCLA offense this year

Ray Guy Award-- Drew Butler, Georgia, is another lock. He averaged 48.8 yards a kick. the next highest averaged 45.

Outland Award- Suh is a lock

Bednarik Award (Best Defensive Player) Suh is a lock for this one also

Butkus Award (Best Linebacker) McClain Alabama will probably win it but Norwood from South Carolina may steal it.

Biletnikoff Award (Best Receiver) This is a tough one. I think Golden Tate from ND may take it.

Doak Walker Award (Best RB) Either Ingram of Bama or Gerhart of Stanford

Davy O'Brien Award (Best QB) Colt McCoy

Maxwell Award (Best Player) Probably Ingram

yeah, I had no clue about kickers, I just googled finalist (evidently not the correct year). I don't see Tate winning the Biletnikoff though, and don't know about the Davy O'Brien either, that is a tough one for me.
