Many people want to look at Denvers performance last week against the Ravens as a barometer for tonights matchup with the steelers. On paper it looks like a good idea, I mean Denver struggled immensely vs a ravens defense that plays a similar style to the steelers, and the steelers defense is probably even better than the ravens defense. However, their is one major factor that most people are overlooking and tht factor is the elevation of mile high stadium.
If you take a look at Denvers most impressive wins this season thy are both at home. One vs the cowboys and the other vs the patriots. If you take a look closely you will see that the elevation played a major factor in both Romo and Bradys attrocious performances. It is no coincidence that both quarterbacks, both arguably better than Big Ben had by far their worst games of the season in Denver. If you ask me Big ben will fare no differently tonight and the Denver defense combined with the elevation will propel the broncos to victory tonight.
Just so some have an uderstanding of what the elevation will do to big ben tonight, when he is off target, he will more than likely miss high bc of the thin air.
This very well may sound foolish to many but after tonights game we will be able to know for certain.
