  • CFB Saturday

    CFB YTD 15-13 -1.7 units
    2* 2-4 -4.8 units
    1* 13-9 +3.1 units
    CFB/NFL Combined 20-21 -5.7 units
    2* 4-6 -5.2 units
    1* 16-15 -0.5 units

I got on track in CFB last weekend going 3-1, all 1* plays, withe easy wins on Clemson, Georgia and Ok State and a dismal loss on Illinois.

    2* Washington +10
It's rare that a find a double digit dog I think will win straight up but Washington was good enough to beat USC, is at home, and catches Oregon in a big letdown spot here. They host USC next weekend and are likely to be looking ahead.

    1* South Carolina -12
I won going against Vandy last week and I'll fire at them again here. This is Spurrier's most complete team at SC as they have an excellent defense and face a Vanderbilt team with a terrible offense. This is South Carolina's lone home game in a four week span and they'll use it to blowout a weak opponent.

    1* Mississippi -6
Houston Nutt gets to face his old team at home. The disappointing Ole Miss offense got to tune up against undermanned UAB last week. Huge letdown spot for Arkansas here after a heartbreaker at Florida and now playing a second road game in a row.

    Opinions only:
    Clemson
    Northwestern
    Michigan

    NFL:
I'll write these up later but am betting them now at the lines below:
    1* Colts -13
    1* Raiders +6

I am strongly considering a play on the Thursday night Flor State-NC game but am waiting on line movement. If there's a play, I'll post in this thread.

    Thursday:

    1* Florida State +3 (-115)
(I waited to see if the number would move up to 3 and got it at +2 1/2 (-105) and am buying to 3.) Florida State's season is shot if it loses tonight. As screwed up as the coaching situation is, largely because of the infatuation with the ludicrously overrated Jimbo Fisher, Florida State has a huge talent edge and a much better offense than North Carolina. Remember: this is a team that scored 34 against an excellent Mia-Fl defense and annihilated BYU. Both of those teams would beat North Carolina.
