Both teams needs to improve their results, as the time is already short to guarantee they playoffs. Both teams have traced a different path, Rangers started well and blow out lately, Bruins started badly but improved themselves. This is important game to both teams.
Bruins are good in this point of the season. They can achieve wins easily, and the major fact is their defense. They are one of the best defenders of the league, but not one of the best offense. In 18 road games, only for seven times the result was a over 5.5. In last 5 road games, only one was over, and this show how this team faces the road games.
They make their defense strong and allowing none or few goals, and their offense just produce enough to give them the win.
Rangers are with a difficult season after the 1-8 record. However, in the last road games, this team showed again some of the bright the had in the start of the season. In last 4 road games, they won the 4 in regular time. At home the results aren't yet so good, as they are 1-4 in last 5. In those 6 games, only one was a over, the 0-6 defeat to Flyers.
