Beware of some sports monitors

Some sports monitors only post a given handicapper's record if it exceeds a winning percentage of 50%..........(there are fundamental reasons why they do this but I will not go into this unless you post back and ask me).
What's wrong with a sports monitor only posting handicappers that are better than 50%, you ask?
Well there are a few scamdicappers out there that have five or so "clubs" they submit for one sport under a particular sports monitor. A "club" is simply a set of picks.........(for example the Big East Club, the Underdog club, etc).
The problem is that you will never see the four out of five clubs that perform horribly. But you will see the one club that does decent.
Then the scamdicapper will hype themselves and tell you all about that one club that happens to be doing well at that given point in time.........then they will tell you to check out the sports monitor for proof of his or her awesome picks.
Bottom line= the reason that dishonest handicappers have "clubs" is because they know that one of them is bound to be doing well at a given point in time.........then they can point to a sports monitor to show you how great they are.
Having a winning percentage on one "club" or set of picks does not mean much!
So beware of scamdicappers that have "clubs" and the sports monitors that harbor them!!

Many of the monitors do it, big and small. I can tell you that one of them ends with the #1 college football team in the country.
It is to the monitor's financial benefit to do it. They make their money from the handicappers that pay to be monitored. If a handicapper had a losing percentage or had four of their losing clubs shown.........that would make them look bad and therefore they would not want to pay for something that shows the negative. So that is why the monitors hide the losing percentages and the losing clubs.
As for the clubs.........an honest handicapper only submits one set of picks versus a scamdicapper that submits several sets (clubs) of picks. That is not fair!..........an honest capper lives and dies with his one set of picks and the scamdicapper has several sets of picks being monitored and will get lucky with one set (club).

Bennojd, you're exactly right!!! Hope the people on here under stand what you're saying!!! I have not seen posted plays on here by a service that Hit over 500!!! I watched Wayne post his plays for a long time and post his record every nite!!! That takes a lot of Guts, can't to many people do that!!! Over 98% of the people that Bet, Lose!!! If you can stay above 500, you're doing great!!! That's why I hate to see people pay a service!!! Most cannot pick any Better than the person paying!!! I still look at Em on here myself and hope they never stop posting!!! I've always liked to look at Wayne Roots plays, even though we will have the same games every week!!! I had a Friend one Year lose $75,000 because of a Service and I was Opposite every game but my Friend felt like he had to play their plays!!! Now, not that I'm any Better than some but He plays everything I play now Every nite and has not had to pay out a dime!!! I started towards the end of Basball posting some of my plays every nite and posting my Record like Wayne and I hate when I post a loser!!! I keep a Record though, because that's the only way you can see how someone is really doing!!! People seem to remember the hot streaks but forget about the Cold ones that put you in the hole!!! You will not win every nite, no one does but you can Win more nights than you lose and thats very Hard to do, do none of us would have to work!!! Just want to wish Everyone the Best, I Hate to see anyone lose their money!!! It hurts me when I post a pick and i think just one person out their may have played and loss their money!!! Sometimes I think about Stopping posting and just go back to playing my ball games and leave the computer alone!!! It takes me away from my Family alot, it takes time to study these Ball games every nite!!! I myself Research Every game Every nite and make my own lines for Every game Every nite but I Love it and I love to beat the man because Very Few can do it!!! I'm sorry I went own and own But I just hate to see people get Ripped off!!! Don't get me Wrong, there may be some good service's out their, I really couldn't tell you!!! People just seem desperate for a play sometimes and I just don't want to see anyone get hurt!!! Just take it easy until You're playing with the other man's money, I have been for a long time, do my Wife would have been long gone and She should!!! You bring up some great points. That is why this forum is great.........because of guys like you.
If we can save one person from being mislead it will have been worth it!
Their is a huge difference between an honest handicapper and his best plays day in and day out versus a scamdicapper that has to deceive and claim a great record while hiding his losses.

I couldnt agree more and well said , Im sure everyone gets your drift . I for one dont post a record mainly because of the time required to do so ( greys , baseball , football , basketball , hockey , boxing , soccer , nascar , props , and on and on ) just take far to much time. And I usually log my wagers at a site and let them keep track for me because of the ease of doing such .

We agree on the paying a service and if you take and put your time into learning all these things , you will have more money to play with and grow much smarter in the areas of your interests .

Propaganda At It's Best

Could not help but respond to a service that I call the propaganda service of America. This guy is so full of himself that he would have made Dr Joe Gobbles proud. In the past, I had to get four or five other people to help pay for his service only because it was so expensive. The propaganda that he spit out must had me hypnotized because I went back again and again, and lost again and again. His web site, and hot line advertise for his service, and multiple other services. If one that he advertises which include his own service goes 3w and 2L, that is all you will hear is how he is a "winna." He won't tell you that the rest of the picks went 2W and 18L. The last time that I used this service was over six years ago. However, this past Monday he advertised his Monday night G.O.Y. on his web site. Like a dummy, I fell for it. The outcome, another loss on my end. There was a plus to this G.O.Y., and that was if it loses, next Monday night game is "FREE." Spare me. The final insult was if you called his hotline on Tuesday, you heard he lost his Monday night side, (never called it G.O.Y.) but did hit his total G.O.Y., the under. No under was ever given out, but only Green Bay. I got bit once more, and I will never be caught off guard again.

Having a service can only make one a loser. Yes, there are some honest ones out there, but the bottom line is, in the end your bank account will show nothing but minus $$$$$$. :angryfire

You bring up a great point, Stripe!
That is a marketing ploy that is common place with some of these dishonest services.
They try and get you to think that by purchasing their pick(s) you have no risk.........they tell you if their play is a loss then not to worry because the next play will be free.
Well what good is a free play that will probably lose also!
The problem is that you paid for the original pick and lost on the play too..........now what good is a free play?
The service already WON when you paid for their hyped pick.
Honest handicappers do not use these ploys..........they do not guarantee picks..........and they let their picks do the talking for them.

I am sure many others could relate to your story of scamdicappers that are not really handicappers but only hypsters in disguise.
As for the highly touted G.O.Y. that many scamdicappers pitch for sale..........On any given day or night: NO ONE PLAY IS REALLY STRONGER THAN ANY OTHER PLAY!................THERE ARE ONLY TWO TYPES OF PLAYS in my book:
a)plays you like and b)plays you really like
BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN ONE IS A STRONGER PLAY THAN OTHER..........one star plays are usually just as strong as five star plays!
Only make bets with plays you feel are strong!.........not just because a game is on T.V.
Many bettors wager on way too many games..........it is OK to pass!..........no need to bet every day or night!!

These are some Internet monitors that do not play any games and are Independent from any service on their site. All three are very legit, records are updated realtime or very close to realtime, handicapper selections are available for public viewing 10 minutes after the posted start time of a game. I use them all and they have a high degree of integrity. Most of the small to medium size services are at these sites. As for the large services, I see very few ever monitored and to your point when they are it seems to be an exclusive site which leads me to believe they may or may not be legit.

Everyone has an opinion on services. Some good, some bad. There are so many reason why someone may choose to use a service over a short periord or long periord of time. I can tell you from personal experience that the above monitors are legit as far as I am concerned. Records are always correct.

4breakout, didn't praise Tipster!!! Will ride him when he's hot and anyone else if they've proved theirself!!! I appreciate him posting his plays here and anyone else that does!!! I pretty much play my own plays and that's it but i still enjoy seeing what others have to say!!! I remember the cold streak but he never asked a penny from anyone and if he does that's OK to!!! No one on here has to play anyone's plays but the average person cannot pick a ball game nite after nite, week after week!!! I was taliking to someone today and I here this all the time!!! He said You have to really know Sports to bet on them But that's just not true!!! You have to know how to read the Lines, it Helps to know sports!!! Best of Luck this Weekend!!!
