I went 3-1 last weekend in CFB but the loss was on the only 2* play. I may add one additional play on Friday's Boise-Fresno game depending on line movement.
2* Auburn -7
West Virginia's program will be on a steady decline under Bill Stewart. They are in over their heads here against a resurgent Auburn team that suddenly has an explosive offense under Coordinator Gus Malzahn (architect of the Tulsa juggernaut the last few years). Auburn has scored 86 points in two games including 49 against a decent Miss State defense. No letdown here for a team excited about winning again and with only Ball State next week.
2* UNLV -7
I went against Hawaii last week on a 2* (and lost) but went with UNLV and won. UNLV has two excellent quarterbacks in Clayton and Clausen and almost upset Oreg State last week. Hawaii did put points on the board last week but gave up 20 to woeful Wash State and is in a tough spot in its second consecutive game on the mainland.
1* Central Florida -4
UCF is off a respectable loss on the road to a solid Southern Miss team. Buffalo may be worn down after an annihilation by Pitt last week and now must play a second consecutive road game and do it in very hot weather.
1* Oklahoma State -32
Poor Rice. They have an awful defense and must catch Ok State off a loss. Okla State needs a big win to restore its national credibility and will go for the rout here as they only have tiny Grambling next week. Rice has given up 99 points in only two games!!! What will they do with Ok State's awesome offense?
