MARSHALL (6-3 SU/3-4 ATS) at MIAMI OHIO (8-1 SU/6-3 ATS)
Marshall comes off a bye week after posting a 42-24 home win and cover over Akron as -12½ point favorites. QB Graham Gochneaur completed 15-of-25 passes for 199 yards, with two TD's and two interceptions, while Earl Charles rushed for 121 yards and three scores and Butchie Wallace had 147 yards rushing and one score on 15 carries. Marshall dominated the game with edges in total "O" (573-391), first downs (28-18) and time of possession (35:28 to 24:32). Miami-Ohio looked good two weeks ago in a Tuesday Night ESPN home affair as they beat previously 20th-ranked Bowling Green 33-10 as -7 point favorites. QB Ben Roethlisberger completed 19-of-28 passes for 230 yards and ran for a touchdown and Cal Murray ran for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries for the MAC East Division leading RedHawks, who extended their winning streak to eight games. It was a good effort by Miami-Ohio as they outgained BG in total "O" (376-343), while the defense forced four fumbles. Marshall is 2-5 ATS in their last seven November road games, but is 5-0 SU and ATS the last 5 meetings with Miami-Ohio. Miami comes in 10-2-1 SU and 9-3-1 ATS the week before playing hated rival Ohio.
