WNBA Playoffs start Wednesday with 2 games Wednesday and 2 Thursday. The first round is a best of 3 format with the lower seeded team hosting the first game while the higher seed hosts games 2 and 3.
In the east Indiana is the # 1 seed and will be playing Washington the # 4 seed. Atlanta is the # 2 seed in the east and will be playing Detroit the # 3 seed. In the west Phoenix is the # 1 seed and will play San Antonio while Seattle the # 2 seed will play Los Angeles. I think Phoenix is the best team in the WNBA and will win it all over anyone in the east. My guess is that Atlanta will play Phoenix for the title.
Pick for Wednesday
L.A. -5 over Seattle. While Seattle is the higher seed they have a lot of injuries and L.A. has been playing really strong the last month. I think L.A. will sweep Seattle.
Detroit -3' v Atlanta. This is a no play for me. The number is about right and is too close to call. I am laying off
Thursday's Play
Phoenix -1 over San Antonio. Phoenix is too strong in my opinion although San Antonio went 2-2 in the regular season with Phoenix. I will take Phoenix all day if I can get them at or near a pick
Indiana -1' v Washington. Again this is a no play for me. I think it is too close to call. Indiana was 4-0 in the regular season against Washington so why the low spread. I am laying off.
Good luck to anyone who may follow.
