    YTD 16-14 +4.30 units
    Faves 3-4 -1.36 units
    Dogs 13-10 +5.66 units

I like a lot of dogs in early action today and I'll play my best one and use others as "opinions."

    1* Reds +147
It's hard to believe Milwaukee led the NL Central for two months. Their pitching is atrocious and their bullpen is totally used up after two extra inning losses to the Reds. To make matters worse, they go with a pitcher who has been out of action for weeks and will be on a limited pitch count. Cincy isn't very good but everybody is beating the horrid Brewers right now.

    Opinions only:
Yankees/Rangers OVER (NYY OVER five in a row)
Astros (+240 on a solid pitcher)
Nationals (If you think the Cubs are bad now, wait 'til the Ricketts family slashes payroll next year)

            Adding, in night action....

            Add:

            1* Padres +210
I normally would avoid San Diego on the road like the plague (awful 21-46) but there's big value here. Clay Richard was pitching very well for the White Sox before the ludicrous Jake Peavy trade (how's that working out, Kenny?) and has gotten better in San Diego. He pitched six shutout innings against the powerful Cardinals last out. Vazquez was shelled in his last two outings for the Braves and they are only 13-12 in his starts. +210 is a lot of money if I'm right with limited risk if I'm wrong.

Sure wish I had also gone with the opinions as full plays. While the Yankees total lost, the Astros won at +240 and the Nationals came in at +180.

                Need the Padres tonite
