Gonna' try and keep it two 2-3 plays per day. Gonna' keep them all in one thread. Hope this changes my luck.
Had a bad beat yesterday, but it happens. Gonna' go back to the scene of the crime. Been horrible as of late.
One play today:
CWS -1.5 (-112)
Just a complete mismatch up and down the board. Buerhle had a bad run of starts but put together a dominant performance last time out, giving up 0 ER and only 7 baserunners in 8 IP. On the other side of the coin, Bannister put together a few effective starts in July, but in his last two starts he has given up 14 ER in 10 IP, with 20 baserunners in those 10 IP.
In a large sample the WS hitters are batting nearly .300 against Bannister with Ramirez, Pierzynski and Thome leading the way. Bannister pitches much worse during night games, and much worse on the road.
All looks good for a WS blowout to me.
