1* Mets +101
I know it's hard to play the Mets but all the numbers are in their favor here. They're a decent 32-26 at home while San Fran is a putrid 24-34 on the road. Neither pitcher is any good but that helps our cause because the Giants can't hit (only 16 runs the last six games).
1* Rangers -130
I hate playing favorites but this one is begging for a play. Tommy Hunter is pitching great and Liriano isn't. The Twins are in a total funk while the Rangers come off a winning series over Boston. But check this out: Texas is 39-22 at home and Minnesota is 23-34 on the road!
FASCINATING NOTE: Perceptions just don't die. Texas is now 73-39 UNDER. The turnaround on the pitching staff is almost miraculous. If they could name a pitching coach manager of the year, I'd give it to Mike Maddux for the job he's done with the Rangers. As for the guy they Brewers replaced him with, he's already been fired.
