In the game I attended on July 6 against Oakland, one of the worst hitting teams in baseball, Smoltz gave up 5 earned runs and 10 hits in six innings-that says a lot.
I wonder how long it will take Sox management to take their head out of the sand and realize that his age and the fact that he is coming off a serious injury(as well as his lackluster performances) are not exactly in his favor.

Biggest comeback of the season, and I'm on the wrong end of it. Well shit. 12-2, and I'm gonna lose. It's not even a big play, I'm not even really that mad, I'm fvckin' amazed that I stayed up to watch this (Lovedoc quote) "IMPLOSION."

The biggest comeback ever was 12 runs back in the 1920s (when Spark was playing tee-ball), this one is 10 runs. The Oakland fans (all 15 of them) must be going nuts.

The 2nd biggest comeback this season (that I can remember at least) was the Braves third game of the season, when the pen gave up a 7 or 8 run lead.

One crazy game to be on the wrong end of.

Game ain't over yet, but I think I know how this game is gonna' end.

        Sorry for the rant guys.

Wow-I didn't know Minnesota lost that game;it was 13-7 when I went to sleep.
Sorry about your incredibly tough loss.
I believe Red Sox might be second in this category blowing a 10-1 lead against Baltimore about a month ago.
