      I hope I am wrong but have to go with Texas;Smoltz sucks and is over-the-hill, and to win, I think Sox will need a minimum of six runs.
      ps The only thing is Sox favor is that the Rangers have been playing for shit of late.

        He gave up 1 run and walked 1 with 7 K's in his last outing. Over the hill my ass. I'm not giving up on him after 4 starts. He hasn't pitched in over a year, it isn't all coming right back together in 3 starts. Give him time to adjust.

                Hope you are right-he is no kid, coming off an injury, pitched so-so in the minors;he was trule horrible at the game I attended on July 6 against Oakland.
                If he doesn't improve, he might take over Saito's role-he would probably be great for a few batters or even an inning in certain situations.
