Lady Luck: Today's WNBA best bets
      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minnesota Lynx at San Antonio Silver Stars (-7.5, 152)

What a difference two days can make.

The Lynx were 2.5-point favorites at home Friday night, before getting blown out, 77-61 by the Silver Stars. And now, Sunday in San Antonio, the Silver Stars have all the momentum as the line has swung 10 points in a little more than 48 hours, making them 7.5-point favorites in the home-and-home rematch.

"I had to rip them a new one," Lynx coach Jennifer Gillom, whose team had 21 turnovers in the loss, told the Associated Press. "We played together in the first few minutes of the game," Gillom said. "Then we got a little lead and people started playing individually. We have to correct that."

And as bad as the Lynx were, the Silver Stars were the good. San Antonio touted a balanced attack, led by Sophia Young (21 points), Becky Hammon (19), Ruth Riley (12 points) and Belinda Snell (10 points).

      Pick: Silver Stars

Chicago Sky at Seattle Storm (-11, 139.5)

The way Chicago has been playing this month, the Sky is falling. Hard.

Chicago has lost four straight games by an average of 18 points to falter in the race for second place in the Eastern Conference.

Three of those defeats came on the road, where Chicago has especially struggled this season. The Sky are just 1-6 away from the Windy City and are rarely competitive in an opponent’s gym.

Meantime, Seattle is starting to peak. The Storm has won two straight and five of seven overall. The Sky did sneak out a 64-57 win over the Storm earlier this year in Chicago, but these two teams are much different than when they first met on June 14.

      Pick: Storm
