guys,putting mma in a different forum sucks dicks,we get very few views,now we will be like the horse forum with post getting abut 50 hits !!

i could care less about views what really bothers me is there are only a handful of us who follow MMA, and this just in... MMA is about 10 sports rolled into 1 so why wouldn't we be able to put it under all sports discussion ?

me and mark have been posting regularly along with you chung for what....2 years and now all of a sudden there is a seperate forum.......(apologies to any of the other guys that post that i forgot like coach, tech, and PK)

the worst part about it is we have all of these wonderful polls up now.everyone on here follows the major sports, so polls on the nba and nfl and stuff like that makes sense but polls for MMA fights would only make sense on an MMA forum, where EVERYONE is interested and knowledgeable about MMA.


I don't know about you chung but i don't want to look at a poll and see everyone picking one guy only to find out it's because he's from a certain area of where some members live, or because of a nationality or something like that......


DON"T WORRY CHUNG I GOT US COVERED WITH THE SHOW MMAXLRadio talking IN DEPTH about everything MMA every sunday at 10 pm. i'll bump that thread for tommorrow so you can get the link again.

the forums ok,like you said not a huge following but we're getting bigger all the time,i agree with you though,a lot of people are clueless to how good of an athlete it takes to compete at the top of the food chain in this sport !!

I agree i really don't have a problem with the forum, that's ok, i guess what i was trying to say is i don't want people blowing dough because in the poll everyone picks the same guy, so some random guy may say ohhh everyone is taking "so an so" and then go take him just because the poll is on pg 1. ya know what i'm sayin chunger

Chunger here we go already........Mavs please don't take this in a bad way as your one of the mma guys on here that i really like talking to, i like talking MMA with anyone but mavs shows the interest to want to learn about MMA as well which is great, awesome buddy......BUT

I think you were fooled by how BAD team U.S is and it made team U.K look unbeatable, trust me when i tell you mavs that was the worst crew of guys ever on TUF, every U.S guy flat out sucked compared to the U.K guys, only reason i bring this up is i saw you voted bisping in the poll, while bisping definiteley has a good shot, Hendo is on a whole nother level than bisping and IF it plays out how i think bisping will be on his back all night long.

Go watch Bisping vs Hamill, seriously it is a perfect example, watch the fight then tell me who you think won, then here the decision (make sure you see where the event took place Hint, hint.) If matt hamill can drop bisping like that dan henderson should have a field day, but i know that bisping probably worked on nothing but takedown defense, and hendo is at the end of his career.....i still see dan dropping him whenever he wants

I WILL NOT vote in any of the MMA polls, just so you guys know, i actually feel it will confuse people. i will keep the picks coming as usual and that is how you will know if i like someone. or you can just ask me as i think everyone knows by now if it's MMA pain will have no problem talking about it. Exactly why I voted Bisping. I don't know a lot about the sport, I'm not going to pretend I do. My vote had absolutely nothing to do with TUF fights. Henderson and Bisping are on totally different levels than these TUF guys are.

It was just a vote on a poll, and my comment even followed with "I'm interested in others opinions.".... I don't see where the "Chunger here we go already" is coming from. I do however, thank you for the feedback and breaking it down for me a little.

I mean absoulutely no offense here Pain, but I think you are taking the polls for more than they are worth. The picks are what count, because you know who they are coming from. Polls can come from anyone. People who have never heard of the UFC can vote on the polls, people don't take too much stock into them, and they are more based around having a pre-fight discussion of the fight. I highly doubt people are making bets solely based on poll results.

Exactly why I voted Bisping. I don't know a lot about the sport, I'm not going to pretend I do. My vote had absolutely nothing to do with TUF fights. Henderson and Bisping are on totally different levels than these TUF guys are.

the here we go already was not directed at you buddy, like i said i like talking MMA with you guys all the time but you have to realize that this will make people(looking for quick action) take more fights, for example if there is a poll on all the fights, i might give an opinion on who i like but that doesn't mean i'll play it, playing a full MMA card can go VERY wrong in a hurry. TRUST me. you HAVE to pick your spots.

was not taking any kind of shot at you at all with whole poll thing, i just wanted to let you know that i feel it will cloud my judgment making picks if i have an opinion on every fight, in other words i might talk myself into a pick, and that is the worst thing you can do in MMA.

no offense taken mavs like i said your one of the guys i like to cut it up with, i see your point, but at the same time i have to admit that i have made a play based on a poll.

if your taking a b-ball, or foots game, there is a spread, so unless you take ML it is pretty much a straight play, fights only have ML's so while i might take the jets -3 -110. MMA ML's get ridiculous to the point of -800, that is the big difference everyone can vote on -800 favorite. i hope your right and nobody takes that much stock in the polls. The only reason i don't like the idea is that reason, fear that someone will drop whatever they have left for the night on a fight just because everyone in the poll picked them. that's the only reason i don't like the idea, your 4th sentence, people who have never heard of the ufc can vote in polls, that's what scares me.

Roger that chung, you guys are probably right, I just feel if i'm commenting and giving opinions on EVERY fight, i'll talk myself into a pick i never would have made, i'll admit i've done it before, and wouldn't want to cost anyone.

the forum is great, the polls are an interesting idea and i'm just glad we have a much bigger focus on MMA overall. that's what really matters to me the most.

i'll contribute in any way possible guys not trying to be a jerk, honestly i guess i was just surprised when i saw all the MMA threads going around today.
