MLB YTD 7-6 +1.89 units
Faves 1-4 -3.36 units
Dogs 6-2 +5.25 units
I've split in the Mets-Nationals series, winning with New York as a small dog Friday and losing a small fave yesterday. The rubber game goes today.
1* Mets -109
Not to be repetitive but the Nationals are now 15-39. Going against a rotten team like this at small numbers will make money over the long run. Livan Hernandez is coming off three solid outings in a row while Washington's Stammen has been mediocre his last three starts. More importantly, the Nationals' bullpen is the joke of baseball while the Mets have Frankie Rodriguez.
NBA:
Playoffs YTD 10-5 +5.6 units
2* 1-0 +2.0 units
1* 9-5 +3.6 units
Season YTD 61-52 +9.4 units
4* GOY 1-0 +4.0 units
2* 7-4 +5.2 units
1* 53-48 +0.2 units
1* Lakers -6 1/2
I originally posted this play Friday but the line remains the same. The Lakers dominated in game one and I don't see any reason game two will be different. Orlando's big forwards Turkoglu and Lewis ate up Cleveland but are having a tougher time against the Lakers tall defenders. That's forcing Jameer Nelson and Rafer Alston to make threes (you saw how well that worked Thursday). And nobody is stopping Kobe. Another double-digit win.
